My Professional Story
My journey into data began with a degree in Physics, where I learned to break down complex systems into their fundamental components. I now apply that first-principles approach to my work as a data analyst, where I specialize in building robust solutions from the ground up, from predictive models to automated data pipelines.
I am driven by the challenge of not just analyzing data, but using it to tell a compelling story that influences product strategy and drives measurable growth. My goal is to join a forward-thinking team where I can help solve the most impactful problems at the intersection of data, product, and business.
My Journey: From Physics to Data & Product
My professional path began at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I pursued a degree in Physics with a concentration in Quantitative Finance. This interdisciplinary foundation gave me a unique lens for problem-solving, teaching me to break down complex systems and approach every challenge with analytical rigor.
I took my first step into the professional world at Pennymac, joining as a Product Analyst in the fast-paced mortgage technology sector. There, I had the opportunity to apply my quantitative skills to real-world business problems, quickly learning to navigate large datasets and deliver insights to my team.
My role soon evolved beyond simple analysis as I began to take ownership of our data infrastructure and strategy. I architected automated data pipelines, built predictive models from scratch, and became the go-to partner for translating complex data into clear recommendations for product and engineering leaders.
This journey, from understanding theoretical physics to building practical data solutions, has solidified my passion for using technology to solve meaningful problems. I am now seeking a role where I can fully apply my unique blend of technical building and strategic analysis to help an innovative company drive its product and growth forward.
